The OvenTiny™ brand has a sentimental backstory. As a child, Ethan was gifted a teddy bear by his mother. In a whimsical moment, Ethan named the beloved bear "OvenTiny" and the name stayed with him.
While searching for an alias for his art practice. "OvenTiny" felt fitting. It served as a reminder to not lose the creative spark he had as a child.
The logo features a bright teal teddy bear with a stylized sideways "E" forming a crown. The bear's smile is a reminder to stay positive in difficult times.
The brand was created from Ethan's desire to make streetwear he would actually want to wear—pieces that express something meaningful. He grew tired of seeing clothing brands charge high prices for repetitive, uninspired designs. Instead, he wanted to create something rooted in the Toronto community, rather than clothing that exists only as an image online—brands with large followings, yet pieces that are rarely see in public.
OvenTiny™ reflects a return to joy in creation, where design is driven by emotion rather than trend or mass production. Every piece starts as a hand-drawn canvas and the designs are manually applied by Ethan himself.
